- p72The Council has at the time of writing some £63.6m of PWLB debt. To borrow for the remainder of the 2025/26 capital programme i.e. up to the projected level of the CFR (£75.9m) it would need to borrow a further £12.3m by the end of March 2026. The table above highlights that by the end of 2028/29 the Capital Financing Requirement is expected to reach some £103.9m by 2028/29 (based on the capital programme).
