The Local Government Transparency Code asks councils to publish certain data. This is what Hastings Borough Council publishes, where it is on this site, and what we couldn't find on its transparency pages.

- Pay multiplier and senior pay
On this site: Pay at the council (the pay multiplier page and the statement of accounts).
Not published, or not lately
- Grants to voluntary and community groups
The council's budgets page lists monthly files of grants paid to charities up to September 2014, and none since.
- How quickly the council pays its suppliers
We found no prompt payment figures on the council's transparency pages.
- Counter-fraud figures
The newest file covers 14 June 2018 – 13 June 2019.
- Councillors' payments for some years
The council's index has no page for 2021/22, 2022/23, 2023/24.
- A current pay policy statement
The newest is the Pay Policy statement 2020/2021. Its page says: “The Pay Policy statement is currently being updated.”
