Consultations

A consultation is the point at which you can still influence a decision. These are the ones we can see, taken straight from the council's own consultation pages.

Open now

5 open, soonest closing first. Where the council's page states a closing date we show it; where it doesn't, we say so rather than guess.

Open to particular groups

4 more, which the county's consultation hub labels as for a particular audience rather than anyone: its own staff, the people who use a service, or a targeted sample. Each says who it is for. These aren't on the front page or the ward pages. A consultation counts as for anyone when its audiences include one of: Anyone from any background, Residents of East Sussex, Residents, Everyone, General public, Public, and its areas include all areas or Hastings.

Also open: licence applications and traffic orders

Representations to the licensing team and objections to the borough's orders, soonest closing first. The county's traffic order consultations are in the list above.

Recently closed

Newest first, kept so you can see what was asked and when. The council's page usually keeps the documents up.
