What broadband and mobile signal Hastings could get in
July 2025, from what the networks told Ofcom: the
whole town, and your own postcode.
The town
Of Hastings' 47,097 homes and business premises, 75.4% could get gigabit-capable broadband in July 2025 (all of it full fibre), and 99.5% superfast broadband (30 Mbit/s or more). 3 premises were below the universal service level.
Where full fibre was available, 37% of premises were using it (28% of all premises).
The postcode is looked up in this browser
from a file of every Hastings postcode; it isn't sent to us or anyone else.
Mobile signal
Mobile: indoors, 98% of Hastings premises had 4G from all four networks (England: 89%) and 100% from at least one; outdoors, 100% had 4G from all four, and 100% had 5G from at least one, at Ofcom's "high confidence" level.
Ofcom publishes mobile coverage for whole council areas;
its coverage
checker answers for a single address.
What the words mean
Gigabit-capable: a connection that can reach 1,000 Mbit/s,
full fibre to the premises or cable. Ofcom gives full fibre separately
only for whole council areas.
Superfast: 30 Mbit/s or more download.
Below the universal service level: no fixed or fixed wireless
connection of at least 10 Mbit/s down and 1 Mbit/s up. A premises like this can ask
BT for a connection under the broadband universal service obligation.
These are what networks say they could supply, not what anyone
has bought or the speed they get.
