Richard Street, from the Museum Association, gave an update on the association's activities since the last meeting, including its AGM, talks, member visits, and registration with HMRC for gift aid. p9

• p916. Museum Association Update Richard Street gave an update on the Museum Association since the last meeting. The AGM was held in September. In January there was a presentation from Steve Dine about Empress Coaches. In March there has been a presentation about the Author Malcum Saville by Elaine Luke. The next talk is on 25 th April when Andrew Blackman and Hayden Luke will talk about Fairlight Place. There are member only visits to The Mint House at Pevensey and the museum store. There is a visit to the Hastings Contemporary is also planned in May. The Association has been registered with HMRC for gift aid. The Chief Executive gave an update regarding The Hastings Embroidery and it being displayed in The Hastings Town Hall. It is planned to be in September to October, but this is to be confirmed. The Committee discussed having a member of staff to present with the Embroidery and to review/consider its interpretation as it was created in the late 1950s/early 1960 and its portrayal of history may differ from what is taught in schools now. The also asked for the exhibition to be widely advertised.
