The minutes record: “RESOLVED (unanimously): This Council notes that: Around one in seven people in the UK are neurodivergent, meaning they may experience and interact with the world differently. Neurodivergence may include, but is not limited to, Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia, Tourette Syndrome and other neurological differences. Neurodiversity is a natural and valuable part of human diversity, and neurodivergent people contribute greatly to our communities, workplaces, public services and local democracy.”
