What it recommends
- “Full Council appoints Council Champions as set out in the nominations in Appendix A (to follow) for a term ending on the day of the 2027 Annual Council meeting.”
- “Following appointment by Full Council, all appointed Council Champions shall be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check prior to taking up their appointment.”
- “Any proposal to create or appoint to a Council Champion role not included within this report shall be subject to the Council's formal governance and decision-making processes prior to nominations being sought.”
