At the request of HOSC, East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust has provided an update on its capital works programme for the 2025/26 financial year. p6

The new Sussex Endoscopy Unit, located on the first floor of the Sussex Surgical Centre, was completed in Autumn 2025 and will provide additional endoscopy capacity through four endoscopy suites. p12

The Trust has secured £10.3 million of additional critical infrastructure risk capital funding from NHS England, alongside its own £1.5 million allocation, to reduce critical infrastructure risks such as electrical infrastructure and fire compartmentation. p19
