Under the Council's Constitution, the Chair and Vice Chair positions on Scrutiny Committees and the Audit Committee are added together and shared out between political groups according to the number of seats each group holds on the Council. p3

On that basis the 8 places would be allocated as Reform UK 4, Liberal Democrat 2 and Green 2, with the Chair of the Audit Committee appointed from the largest group not represented on the Cabinet. p3p4

Nominations for Chairs and Vice-Chairs of Committees will be circulated to Members of the County Council on the morning of the annual meeting. p5
