The Council's Constitution provides that the Chair and Vice Chair positions of the Scrutiny Committees and the Audit Committee are added together and shared out between political groups according to the number of seats each group holds on the Council, with the Audit Committee Chair appointed from the largest group not represented on the Cabinet. p2
