The Review Board concluded that ongoing monitoring of the service was important and made 16 recommendations to NHS Sussex related to earwax removal and age-related hearing loss services. The committee received a progress report on improvements to audiology services, and the response to the recommendations of the HOSC Review of Audiology Services in March 2026, following the procurement and mobilisation of this new contract.
