What it does
Leisure & Learning delivers a range of inclusive leisure, learning and wellbeing programmes. Our purpose is to promote community wellbeing, to provide pathways to further education and jobs, to turn our much loved buildings into vibrant, collaboratively managed, community spaces and to encourage people to contribute and make a difference to what matters in our community.

The funding will be used to pilot a new learning project for those on low incomes unemployed older people and asylum seekers and refugees. The aim is to reduce isolation and loneliness breaking down social barriers empowering people to learn and share skills increasing wellbeing and community cohesion.
