£10k from The National Lottery Community Fund: Making People Feel Safe
The funding will be used to render St Mary in the Castle a multi-purpose community facility for the people of Hastings Covid-19 safe. Touch free sanitiser dispensers a WiFi and website upgrade are some of the measures which will enable those who feel unable to leave their homes to participate remotely in community activities and events. This will help the venue to reopen and reduce the isolation that has been experienced across the community.
